New help centre guides for first-time owners

Help Getting started

We added more practical help centre guides for owners setting up Space Cake for the first time.

The guides cover connecting an inbox, teaching Space Cake your business, choosing a plan, setting standard prices, and understanding what customers see when replies go out.

The aim is simple: you should be able to get useful answers without needing to ask someone technical.

Booking diary and price estimates now have clearer guidance

Booking Estimates

We improved the public guidance for Space Cake’s booking diary and standard price estimates.

The booking diary explains how Space Cake offers real free slots, avoids double-booking, and sends calendar invites when a customer confirms.

The price guidance explains the important boundary: Space Cake can use prices you set, but it will not invent a number, promise a discount, or turn an estimate into a fixed quote.

Clearer guardrails for sensitive customer emails

Trust Privacy

We made the trust pages clearer about what Space Cake will not do on its own.

Complaints, refunds, returns, money questions, uncertain messages, and anything that needs human judgement are handed back to the owner. Space Cake can still send a warm holding note so the customer knows they have been heard.

We also clarified the attachment promise: files are not stored, and Space Cake does not pretend it has read something it cannot see.
