Approvals and auto-send

How to choose between checking replies first and letting routine answers send automatically.

Space Cake can help in two ways: it can draft replies for you to check, or it can send routine replies automatically when you are ready.

Approval first

Approval first means Space Cake prepares a reply and waits for you to send it. This is useful while you are getting used to the product, or when you are still teaching it your business facts.

Use approval first when:

the inbox is newly connected
your prices or services are still being added
you want to check the voice before customers see it
the business is in a sensitive period

Auto-send

Auto-send is for clear, routine messages. When Space Cake is confident, it can reply without waiting for you.

Good auto-send examples include:

opening-hours questions
service-area questions
simple booking enquiries
standard price estimates from your own price list
“are you taking new customers?” questions

You can pause any time

If something feels off, pause sending. Space Cake will stop sending by itself and you can review replies manually until you are ready to switch it back on.

Auto-send should save you time, not make you nervous. If you are unsure, stay in approval first for a little longer.
