Get value in your first week
The quickest way to make Space Cake useful without trying to set up everything at once.
You do not need to teach Space Cake your whole business on day one.
The best first week is simple: connect the inbox, add the facts customers ask for most often, and let Space Cake handle the easy messages while bringing anything uncertain back to you.
Day one: connect the inbox
Start with the mailbox customers already use.
If you have more than one email address, start with the one that gets new enquiries. You can add more later if your plan allows it.
Add the basics first
Add the facts that stop you typing the same answers every week:
- Opening hours
- Areas you cover
- Standard services
- Standard prices or starting prices
- Call-out fees
- Appointment length
- How far ahead people should book
- What you do not offer
Short, plain notes are fine. You do not need polished wording.
Check the first few replies
For the first few days, read the replies Space Cake drafts and correct anything that does not sound like you.
Those edits help it learn your tone and your business facts.
Switch on more when it feels right
Once the routine answers look right, you can lean on it more:
- Let clear routine replies send automatically.
- Switch on booking when your hours are ready.
- Add standard prices so estimates can be given safely.
- Use the daily recap instead of checking every message one by one.
Keep the promise simple
Your first week is a success if customers get faster answers and you spend less evening time catching up.
